Wicked Skins

Wicked Tattoo and Supplies llc was created by tattoo artists that were looking to solve a problem with fake tattoo skin. Skins on the market were either 1. Junk and served no real purpose in training. 2. Expensive and still weren't hitting the mark with the human-skin experience. 

The Goal: It was to create fake tattoo skin so realistic with tensile material strength that was resilient like human skin yet not too resilient to where it created a false indicator.  Also to make them affordable for self-taught tattoo artists and apprentices. 

The Skill Development: We wanted our fake tattoo practice skins to perform identical to human skin so that training on our skins would convert completely over to human skin. That way what you learn IS what you gain in skill sets.

Science: Wicked Skins take into consideration - the vibration of machine (how it feels tattooing the skins) we made them 1/4 thick to absorb the machine vibration and create the feel of real human skin. Also you can flip them over and use the other side without seeing through them. (giving our customers double the skins they order due to both side use.)

We took into consideration the flexibility and resilience of the skins to perform like human skin which allows multiple light passes like on human skin without turning the fake skins to cloth-like material - without ripping them or causing the absorption of the ink to be unrealistic. 

We didnt like how other skins tend to rip easily with liners even when your doing it correctly.

We took into consideration the absorption of ink. we didnt want them to reject ink with too high of a rubber or silicone property within them - yet we didn't want the "banana peel" effect whereas the ink absorbs at an unrealistic rate which doesnt exist with human skin.

this led us to develop and tweak the skins ingredients until we had the 2 - 3 pass process for color packing and the light needle-tip passes for building up your graywash shades - while keeping them resilient enough to withstand liners at small and large needle groupings. 

The result is a fake tattoo practice skin that tattoos idential to a shoulder or calf skin area on real world human skin. Although by adjusting your pressure with light passes you can simulate thinner skin areas or more tender areas of human skin just as you would "feather" in at lesser pressure and passes on those areas of human skin. 

We then decided to offer pro realism courses from beginner to advanced to show how these skins perform and how the skill sets learned can transfer to human skin - as we take the exact processes and evolve into tattooing on human skin in later courses. 

Proof of Concept is King

Every brand boasts being "like human skin" yet Wicked Skins from Wicked Tattoo and Supplies LLC are the only skins developed and demonstrated in the real world process of transitioning skills from fake tattoo skins to human skin.

Wicked Skins
